PURPOSE
MY PLANS
OVERVIEW

Welcome to my ENG 112 Writing ePortfolio! Here you can find a collection of my writing that showcases my writing practices and the relationship between my writing and other aspects in my life. Also, you can  see how I have developed as both a writer and learner. This ePortfolio will demonstrate my proficiency in the the following program learning outcomes for ENG 112: communication competence, creative problem solving, and information and media literacy.

In Spring 2019, I attended the College of Lake County in Illinois. After moving to North Carolina in Summer 2019, I began attending South Piedmont Community College. After the Spring 2021 semester, I am planning on transferring to UNCC or another four year university in North Carolina. I will then acquire a Bachelors in Social Work in Spring 2023. My main career goal is to become a social worker for young children.

In my ENG 112 Writing ePortfolio, you can find a biography, a reflective essay, revisions of my past essays, insight into my composing and revision process, insight into my peer review process, and some personal and professional writing pieces of mine. Not only will my ePortfolio show the final products of my work this semester in my ENG 112 class, but my ePortfolio will also show how I got to the point I'm at today. You will see my growth throughout these last couple of months. In order for me to improve as a reader and writer, I worked very hard and had to face many challenges.  Famous, American orator, Fredrick Douglass sums up my experience  perfectly when he famously said "If there is no struggle, there is no progress".
