About Me

I was born and raised in the northern suburbs outside of Chicago, Illinois. In the summer of 2019, I moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina with my brother, father, and pets. I currently have four pets which are three dogs and one guinea pig. Their names are Jessie, Barney, Ella-Mae, and Blackjack. In my free time, I like to read, write, journal, sing, listen to music, work with kids, do animal activism, and care for animals.

I attended Vernon Hills High School for my first two years of high school and was homeschooled during my last two years of high school before graduating in 2018. While in high school, I worked at Lakeview Fitness Center in Vernon Hills, Illinois in the babysitting room and worked as a nanny for a family with two children in Mundelein, Illinois. I attended the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois in the Spring of 2019.

After moving, I began attending South Piedmont Community College in Monroe, North Carolina in the Fall of 2019. After I earn my Associate in Arts degree at South Piedmont Community College, I plan on transferring to a four year university in Fall 2021 to earn a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.

While I am a shy and introverted person, I am also a very strong, focused, and determined individual who has many dreams and goals. Many people have dreams and goals, but few and far between are actually willing to put in the time and hard work needed to reach them.

My fierce passion for my personal and professional dreams lies under my small, petite frame which sometimes surprises people. All of my dreams have to do with my passion for helping others. I feel very blessed to be given the natural gift of my strong ability for compassion, care, and kindness which I am determined to put into use by helping others- especially children and animals.

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved helping and caring for others and always knew I wanted to go into a career path where I could do just that and use my gift to the best of my ability. As a child I went through a lot of difficult times and faced many challenges. The social workers who helped me become the strong person that I am today have inspired me to become a social worker and help others in the same way.

Watch out world! I am ready to break through my cocoon and determined to work hard as a caterpillar to become a big, beautiful butterfly. I'm going to make a positive difference for others in the world one individual at a time. Watch as I spread my wings and fly!
