Hello, welcome to my ePortfolio! My name is Alyssa Locascio. Currently I am a student at South Piedmont Community College. After I acquire my Associates in Arts degree in the Summer of 2021, I will be transferring to a four year university. My dream is to become a social worker for young children. I am determined to achieve this dream and all the goals in between through hard work, dedication, and devotion.

In order to reach my goals and achieve my dreams, I focus my attention on working hard in both my personal and professional life. Reaching my goals and achieving my dreams will come from my consistent hard work rather than doing nothing and waiting around for them to potentially happen one day. Goals and dreams do not come to anyone by themselves; I am determined to work hard in order to earn them myself.

The most important strength I use personally and professionally is my strong desire to learn more. My determination to work hard and openness to learning is what makes me unique. I never give up when faced with challenging obstacles. Instead, I use these challenges to motivate myself, push myself harder, and improve my skills.

My ePortfolio shows a collection of my best work and skills in addition to sharing about who I am. I hope that you enjoy exploring my ePortfolio and learning more about what makes me who I am. I am thankful for SPCC as they help me grow from the caterpillar that I was into a beautiful butterfly. This ePortfolio shows all I have accomplished in my journey at SPCC, and now I am ready to spread my wings and fly.
